My philosophy in life is simple, “Memories make us what we are and who we  are. What we do right now, will be a memory tomorrow. Make sure it is a  great one!”  This is something which inspires me personally and professionally,  keeps me grounded and embodies what moves me in anything I do.

My name is Thomas Marzano and I work as the Creative Director for Philips Design, which is the design department of the Dutch multinational Philips.  There I direct the online communication design team and feel privileged to be working with very talented and gifted people. They inspire me every day with their amazing passion for design and tremendous talent. My work revolves around designing brand experiences for Philips that can touch people and add meaning to their lives. The best challenge I can give myself is trying to achieve the ‘what seems to be’ impossible.

I see myself more as a humanistic expressive and inspired creative thinker than a designer. Which drives the creative outbursts I make. Being it in my music, my writings or design.

leisurely morning coffee is a vice I enjoy when time allows me, my long train ride commute is the best time for me to work on my emails (which are loads!). I am a Nikon boy and love bringing new life and meaning to what I see around me with my camera! Movies, music and cooking are my great life passions, but the greatest of them all, providing me most inspiration and feeling of pride… is my son M.A.X.

Inspiration is the oxygen to my soul. Anything in life can inspire me at any moment during the day, and  spark of a daydream. Where strange thoughts and ideas start floating, sounds play and images appear in my mind. My daydreams often come back somehow in my work, music or writings, my daydreams are the fountain and source of my creative expressions.

I love design, typography  and all things beautiful – especially in nature. My earliest memories of designing were as a kid, sitting on my grandparents porch redesigning the Sears Catalog. My lifelong dreams include managing a magazine as creative director and shooting photography for National Geographic. (more…)

Coming from a broken home in South New Jersey & facing many obstacles as a young girl, I began to develop my relationship with art and it then became my obsession. I spent most of my time preparing myself for my IDEAL career as a graphic designer and one day opening my own business.

After moving to Fort Lauderdale, I graduated with a BA’s degree in Graphic Design from the Art Institute of Fort Lauderdale in 2006. I always new I would be someone more than just a girl who liked to draw/ paint and that passion and desire turned into my journey on building my business (named after my late mother) “Diamonte” Designs. I consider myself to be a woman who never takes no for an answer and is always looking for an opportunity in every situation.

I’m 4D and I’m a ‘wannabe’ creative, I’m a work in progress, a sketch before the blueprint. I am working on it though. Currently I see myself as a corporateMonkey, a Professional Geek, with a day job to pay the bills, and an extreme interest in design, photography, engineering, and art. I spend most of my lunch hours in the city art galleries, and most of my nights studying good looking things on the web, with aspirations to create things just as good.

I’ve been using the internet since 1996, and I figured it’s about time to try and put some of the things I’ve learnt from it into practice. So I’m working on putting together a collection of works, as well as doing something with a work colleague who has similar ideas to me. We’ll see what the future brings on that front.

I’ve made the odd website, both personal and paid for, yet nothing I’m extremely proud of yet, I know I can, and will do better.
