My name is Jim, but you can call me AJ. I live in Nashville, Tennessee and…oh, did I mention? I’m officially the luckiest guy in the world. Well…that’s how I feel anyway.

When I was little – well, I’m still little, but what I really mean is, when I was a kid – all I wanted to be when I grew up was an artist. I consider myself so very lucky because I’ve been able to do just that. However the art that has defined me for the past 35 years has been in a constant state of evolution. From coming out of college as a commercial illustrator, to my early career as a production artist and general graphic designer, to 10 years as an art director and designer in the record industry, to finally, my past 15 years as a freelance and corporate web designer.

Along the way, I’ve been married to the same wonderful woman for nearly 31 years; I’ve watched two great kids grow up and strike out on their own to successful, meaningful adult lives and I’ve enjoyed the company of a lot of great friends and colleagues, both in real time and online.
