This statement explicitly describe my view on life. The experiences we go through in life – whether pleasant or unpleasant, shape us into who we are and who we strive to become. The flaws may be there and they will shape us based on how we choose to handle and respond to them. We can either stagnate or grow.

Hi I’m Misty Belardo and I am a Digital Activations Director for an ad agency.

My true love is design and self-expression.  I always encourage others to bring out their creativity to the surface and in whatever medium they feel comfortable with.

I am a designer at heart and I love hand drawn design.  I enjoy sketching, painting and doodling.  Watercolor, Pen and Ink, charcoal are preferred mediums.   I love creating avatars and hand drawn icons.  Started a weblog so that I can share my work with others.  I am very fortunate to be gifted with a very active imagination.

I try to make every moment of my existence fun. Share what I know and make an effort to make a difference in whatever I do.  Coffee is my drink of choice.  Music  inspires me.  Curiosity may have killed the cat.. but it’s a trait that keeps me exploring for new experiences and open my world to new learning’s.  Family and true friendships are important to me.  My Life is an artwork, it may have it’s imperfections, but it’s a work in progress.

    That’s exactly how i feel about, pretty much, everything i do, living, working, fixing something or even fooling around.
    It’s just that simple. everything has 2 sides [i always eat that ice cream ignoring the killing headache.

    I’ve always loved your work Misty and specially the way you’re handling your brushes.

The Ulap Theme

Ulap is the theme used over at the Filipino Design & Creativity Blog: Plus63.net. Ulap is"cloud" in Filipino, it's a fitting name for a theme that believes content is king. Whites, light greys and blacks are the main swatches of the theme - a take on Cirrus, Cumulus and Nimbus clouds. The basic blue for the links represents the sky. The theme was created by Val Villar & Dan Matutina, with an Attribution Creative Commons License.
