So hey, what’s the purpose behind MonoExpression?

MonoExpression was set-up to do one thing, and that is to display black and white creative portraits of whoever wants to be here. Not the usual ‘portrait’ format though, lets try for something a little different.

Hence we have the letter box style of portraits. Not ideally suited for full face crops, unless you are brave. But that was the beauty behind these dimensions, involved people being a little more creative, if they wanted to be, with the composition.

So I felt it would just be cool to have a dedicated photo gallery of these really smart and atmospheric portrait photos for all to see. If you are a creative in any field, from graphics, to interior, to architect and sand castle sculptor, read on for details on how to submit a photo to MonoExpression.

Want to have your own MonoExpression slot?

If you want to have your own place in MonoExpression, then all you need to do is email me at imjustcreative (at) gmail (dot) com a portrait photo, preferably 460×147px and a 2-3 paragraph bio. Look through the gallery for examples.

If you are unable to supply me a photo in those dimensions, or you don’t have a black and white photo, no problem. Just send me what you have and I can create the desired effect for you. So you don’t have to miss out.
